We have worked extensively for private equity clients on acquisitions in many sectors and countries, forming an integral part of the due diligence team.

We undertake commercial due diligence, typically gathering and analysing data on the target company’s markets, competitors and customers, conducting industry interviews and debriefing management. This enables us to comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the business, assess the feasibility of commercial business plans, identify risks and opportunities, and support with developing the valuation model.

Our private equity clients generally face tight deadlines to submit a binding offer, and possibly intense competition from other bidders. We understand these pressures and are committed to ensuring that our clients have the commercial insights necessary to build a timely, yet robust, valuation.
